Getting here by car

Coming from Munich

Freeway Munich - Salzburg (A8) and then on the Tauernautobahn A10 continue towards 'Villach'. At exit 139 'Spittal An der Drau' you leave the highway and follow the arrows 'Millstattersee'. Follow the freeway 98, along the Millstattersee towards Bad Kleinkirchheim. In Radenthein, take Highway 88 toward Bad Kleinkirchheim.

at the intersection with freeway 95 (Patergassen) turn left towards 'Reichenau'. In 'Reichenau' turn right (L65) onto the Hochrindlstraße towards 'Hochrindl'. After 9,2km you will reach our Lodge (situated next to the mountain chapel) on the left side.

Coming from Villach

In the north of Villach, take freeway 94 along the Ossiachersee towards Feldkirchen. In Feldkirchen, take freeway 93 towards Sirnitz. At the Hochrindl/Sirnitz exit (after 13 km) take the exit to Sirnitz. In the village of Sirnitz follow the signs to Hochrindl. After 9,3 km you will find our Lodge on the right side (located next to the mountain chapel).

When it snows heavily, we recommend you to put on your snow chains already at the beginning of the 9 km long Hochrindlstraße, unless you are in possession of a 4-wheel-drive vehicle.

Nearest airports are: Klagenfurt (45 min), Ljubljana (1h30 min) and Salzburg (2h)

In summer

Via Brussels (Brussels Airlines) and Charleroi (Wizzair) there are several flights per week to Ljubljana (journey: 1h40 min)

Via Dösseldorf (Eurowings) you can fly to Ljubljana several times a week.

In the winter

Transavia flies on several Dutch airports (Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Amsterdam) to Salzburg and Klagenfurt (via Rotterdam only).
